Are you in?
Tell your coaches whether you’re coming: press In or Out. You can change your answer until the event starts.
- Maybe (if your team has it) doesn’t count as coming. Like Out, it gives up your duty, your ride and your spot in the line-up, so your coaches can give them to someone else.
- Answer by: if your coaches set a time to answer by, you can still say Out after it. Saying In after it sends your coaches a request, and you’re In only once they approve it.
- Only this event’s players, our coaches and our admins see who answered In or Out. Everyone else sees only how many said each.
- At the rink, press Check in so your coaches know you’ve arrived.
Are you in?
A short note for your team with your answer, such as “Running 10 minutes late”. Everyone on this event’s list sees it next to your name.
Save note saves a new note, Save changes an edited one, and Remove note deletes it. You can change or remove your note until the event starts.
Can you sub?
You’re not on this event’s list, but you can offer to play.
- Offer to sub tells the event’s coaches you’re available, and the button then reads Offered. Press it again to take your offer back.
- If the coaches need you, they add you to the event and let you know. You then answer In or Out as usual.
- They may put you on standby until a set time, or tell you you’re not needed this time. Either way, we let you know.
You're not on a team playing in this event, so you aren't asked to answer. You can still offer to play as a sub. This event's coaches can see that you offered to play. If you can't play after all, press Offered to take your offer back. In Settings, you offered to sub for this team's events of this kind, so this event's coaches already see you as available. You marked this date as away, so we've taken back your offer to sub for this event. If you can play after all, press Offer to sub. You've taken this event out of your offer to sub for this team. If you can play after all, press Offer to sub. You're on standby until : the coaches may still need you, and we'll let you know by then either way. To take your offer back, press Offered. Not needed this time: the team has enough players. Thanks for offering. This event isn't taking subs.
Help wanted
Some duties are open to the whole club, such as the timekeeper at a home game. Any member can take one, not only the event’s own players.
- Press Take it to take one, and Give it back if you can’t come after all. You can do either until the event starts.
- The event’s coaches see your name and team, and we send you a reminder of your duty before the event starts.
- It shows under Your events and in your calendar, though you have nothing to answer.
These duties are open to the whole club, not only to this event's players.
Many rinks have no phone signal inside. From three hours before the start, this phone saves a copy of this event, so you can still open this page and check in at the rink without a signal.
- Players’ phones save the event, their answer and the rink’s safety information (the nearest emergency department, the first-aid kit and the defibrillator), so this page and Check in work without a signal.
- The scorekeeper’s phone also saves the list of players with their numbers, positions and answers, the line-up and the game sheet.
- Coaches’ and admins’ phones save all of that, plus the emergency contacts of the players who said In.
Anything you record without a signal, such as your check-in, is saved on this phone and sent to the website by itself as soon as the phone has a signal again. We delete it all from this phone six hours after the event ends, and when you log out.

Line-up
Choose a player for each spot, or let us build the line-up for you.
Only this event’s coaches and our admins see the line-up until it’s published.
- Tap a spot and choose a player, or drag a player onto it. Only players who said In are offered.
- Build the line-up fills every spot in the line-up for you from the players who said In, by position and shooting side: Balanced lines, Strongest first, Fair ice time or Random by position, which draws new lines at random each time you build, for a practice game or a team that mixes its lines freely. You can change anything after.
- Tap a player’s photo or initials to see their profile, their answer and their season.
- Publish for the team shows it to the players, each with their own spot marked.

Duties are the small jobs at an event, such as bringing the drinks or keeping the clock. This event’s players, our coaches and our admins see who has each one.
- Press Take it on a free duty, or Take a place on one that needs more than one person, such as Bench helpers: 1 of 2. Press Hand it back to give yours up.
- If you say Out or Maybe, your duty goes back on the list, and your coaches hear that it’s open.
- Members of other teams can also take a duty marked Open to the whole club: they find it under Help wanted on their home page and on Sub opportunities.
- Coaches can give a free duty to a player; the website marks the player whose turn it fairly is. Coaches can also add a duty to this event and say how many people it needs.
Share cars to the rink. Only this event’s players, our coaches and our admins see the rides, and you sort out the details among yourselves.
- Once you’ve said In, open Offer a ride or ask for one and choose Offer a ride or Ask for a ride.
- Take a seat in a car with room. Drivers press Pick up beside someone looking for a ride.
Teammates who own a skate sharpener sharpen skates at the rink. Open Bring a sharpener or ask for one:
- Ask for a sharpening with the number of pairs, and choose a sharpener if one is coming.
- Bring a sharpener with your price and how to pay you.
You pay the sharpener directly; nothing is paid through the website.
After each game, the players who came choose the best player among them. Votes are secret.
- Choose a player and press Vote. You have one vote, and you can change it until the vote closes.
- The players your coaches marked as having come can vote. If your coaches didn’t mark anyone, everyone who said In can vote. You can’t vote for yourself.
- Once the vote closes, the event’s players, our coaches and our admins see the winner. Your team decides whether all of them, or only the coaches, also see how many votes each player got.
Only this event’s coaches and our admins see these tools.
- Set answers for players who told you their answer another way.
- Answers for this event sets the time after which players can no longer say In on their own (the answer-by time), and lists the players who said In after it, for you to approve or decline.
- Maybe for this event turns the Maybe answer on or off for this event only, and sets when Maybe answers turn into Awaiting response, instead of following the team’s settings.
- Waiting list: when more players say In than the event has room for, choose whether the team’s own players go ahead of guests, or everyone waits in the order they said In.
- Subs, Call up a player and Guests from outside the club fill gaps; Line-up sets a game’s lines. Under Subs, Goalie needed shows whether we have asked the club’s goalies who are free at that time to play for this event, how many have offered, and when we’ll ask again.
- Game sheet is where you record goals and penalties from the bench. Once you mark the sheet final, a button such as Use 5–3 as the final score puts that score on the schedule.
- Who came opens 30 minutes before the start: choose Came, Came late, Excused or Didn’t come for each player and press Save who came. A player marked Excused never counts as a no-show in the attendance records.
- Player of the game turns the vote after this game on or off, whatever your team’s usual setting.
- Change or cancel changes the event’s time, rink or notes, or cancels it.
- No notifications beside a name means that player hasn’t turned on our notifications on any phone or computer, so they get no reminders or changes unless they open the website. WhatsApp opens a chat with them, with a message already written for you to send.
- A tool that our admins turn off under Club setup › Features, for the club or for this event’s team, doesn’t show here, and this window then names it. Maybe for this event doesn’t show while our admins have Maybe off for every team, because no event takes Maybe then.
While this event is short of goalies, we ask the club’s free goalies to play, as your team chose under Team settings.
- The line under Goalie needed says how many goalies are In, when we asked, how many goalies we asked and how many offered, and what happens next.
- Ask now asks at once, before the usual time, if you know your goalie can’t come.
- Stop asking stops our asks for this event, both the first and the second.
- Each offer under Subs says how often that player has subbed this season, to share the asks fairly.
- If no goalie in the club is free, add one from outside the club under Guests from outside the club.
